alligator green

this morning parks and i went to a store that had balloons

parks loves balloons

the lady tolds us we could have one so we chose a

green balloon

because alligators are green and parks loves alligators

so we left the store very happy with our

alligator green balloon

after that store we had to go into two more stores

& so did the alligator green balloon

then we had to eat lunch

 &so did the alligator green balloon

then we took a nap

&so did the alligator green balloon

then parks read books with dad

& so did the alligator green balloon

did i mention that we love

our alligator green balloon

goodbye christmas

we put down our christmas decorations and it made me sad

i love christmas

and parks loved the tree

toothbrushes

parks loves toothbrushes

life is perfect

when you have a toothbrush in each hand

but if you don't have two toothbrushes

a fishing pole will have to do

today we went to pine valley to

play

in the

snow

we spent most of the time sledding

here are some of the highlights

* parks and grandpa hit a tree

*ammon got run over by two large girls

* grandma would not get on the sled

*and grandpa wore shorts

(grandma thinks this is because his calves are so nice he does not want to hide them under pants)

soon lots of people started to come to the mountain

and this man

took it upon him self to direct sledding traffic

he was a very bad director

but we did learn two things...

number one: it is really funny to see people t-bone each other on sleds

number two: it is also very funny to see a grown man try to stop a person on a tube coming right at him

we finished up the day by drinking

hot chocolate

and eating snow

we also found a bear that really liked to

pick up

                pine cones

a day at the park

december 31st was a

bright sunny day

we decided that it was the perfect day to spend @ the park

so we picked up ammon and wess

we started off with a competition to see who could cross the

monkey bars the fastest 

*erik 2 seconds

*wess 3 seconds

* ammon 11 seconds

*annie did not finish

then we had a pull up contest

*erik 8

*wess 1

*annie 1/2

*ammon none

but most of the day was spent

sliding

& climbing

and sitting in the mulch

merry christmas to all and to all

after the miguels left christmas eve

we headed over to the fergusons

     to wait for SANTA

                     we left santa a piece of cake

             and blitzen a bag of reindeer food

the wait was worth it SANTA came

he brought grandma a bike

he brought grandpa new clothes

Tracee some jewelry

& josh a new skateboard

he brought wess a cake decorator

he brought ammon a new bike

he brought parks a football

spongebob pjs

& a cool new car

mom got a purse

and dad got an idog

merry christmas

the night before christmas

i have decided that it is time to start blogging!!!  everyone always posts that their husbands don't even know that they have a blog this is not true in our house  in our house erik does all the blogging

christmas eve

               started out with us loading parks in the car and heading to snow             

 parks loved thesnow. 

 all he wanted to do was sit in the snow and eat it. 

after the snow it was time to go to our house and get ready for the christmas eve party.  

eriks family came over for a

christmas eve party

we had soup

         & hot chocolate with peppermint sticks

we even had christmas crackers

parks...

really liked the christmas crackers

then

parks put on jammies

and it was time for presents

parks got a puppy 

                          & grandma got a hug

sandy got a coat

            & adrian got an ipod

                       colby got a bear suit

& so did parks
