spooky guys

while we were in St. george my mom and i put up all of her halloween decorations (we know that it is early but we like to decorate together and this was going to be our only chance before halloween)  this got me way excited to decorate our house.  So mom, here are the pictures of our halloween decorations aka spooky guys.

parks loves that we have spooky guys in our house (parks calls everything that is halloween related spooky guys.  this started while we were walking around hobby lobby looking at the scarecrows.)  parks now calls  everthing spooky guys.

welcome home crabbie

while parks and i  were in St. George parks wanted to spend all day in grandma and grandpas sandbox.  When we got back to Arizona erik and i decided that we should get him a sandbox.  After searching craigslist i found a red crabbie sandbox for only 20 dollars!!!  So erik parks and i jumped in the car and headed to phoenix (i am really glad that erik came)  we found the creepy i mean nice man and bought crabbie.

it just to see how parks liked his new sandbox) 

It was in good condition but was a little bit of fading and it had some paint splatter.  All it took was a little bit of this

 and crabbie was looking good as new 

this is erik hauling 40 pound bags of sand up three flights of stairs.

Parks was so excited.  (so was i) 

 we love crabbie!!!

coloring

while parks and i were at target the other day parks found a dora and boots note book that he needed really bad.  When i handed it to him he asked for a pen and spent the rest of the time in target drawing pictures of boots.  When we got home i gave him some crayons and

he went to town.

He draws a picture then gets erik or i

and tells us what he drew.

He is very good at drawing buzz lightyear, boots, lions, dora, bampa, and fish.

Parks usually draws with his left hand, but sometimes there is lots of work that needs to be done and he finds it necessary to use two.

push ups

every night erik does pushups. 

 this means that every night parks does pushups. 

today while reading a book parks felt the need to do a few pushups.

shampoo

for some reason i love to get parks new shampoo.  (i can even tell you every bottle of shampoo and baby wash that he has used since he was born)

 tonight parks and i ventured to target to buy his new shampoo.  I lined up all the bottles that he could choose from and he started to sniff.  (he has the cutiest little sniff in the world)

After 10  min and a million sniffs we decided on "cherry jams"  as soon as we got home parks had erik sniff his new shampoo.  Farwell "orange mango outburst" and hello

As we were headed up to pay parks felt the need to ride in the back of the shopping cart holding his bottle of shampoo. when we reached the convor belt parks used all of his strength to throw his shampoo on the counter so that we could pay.  He then remembered that he had not picked out a treat so he climbed out of the cart grabbed some m&ms and made it back just in time to swipe the card.

medicine

parks really likes medicine,

and he always has.

 the other night he had a slight fever (he is getting new teeth) and erik asked him if he wanted medicine. 

He was super excited and got ready.

After the medicine parks decided to take "tone" on a ride.  They made it all the way to the bathroom before they crashed.

  parks made sure to grap "tone" before fleeing the scene.

tyrone

parks would like you all to meet his best friend tyrone aka "tone" 

 "tone" goes everywhere with us. 

Parks is so funny he always treats "tone" just like we treat him (but we do not carry parks around by the neck). 

 He will have "tone" point to things and then he will tell them what they are, at church he kept showing "tone" the lights and the speakers, "tone" also had to sit on parks lap, just like parks was sitting on dads lap.

  Everytime parks wants to be picked up he will say me.  the other day "tone" was on the floor, parks walked by and said me then picked up "tone" 

We love our parks, and parks loves "tone"

noodles

Monday for lunch parks and i had noodles.

  Parks loves "noods" he was so excited when i showed him the box. 

While our noodles were cooking we had

chips, salsa, and a diet coke. 

Parks is my bestest buddy in the whole wide world.
